Beginning with a visit to the Ceramic and Lithic museums, you can visit the ancient and enigmatic archaeological ruins such as: Gate of the Sun, Kalasasaya Temple, The Semi-Subterranean Temple with nailed heads, Monoliths, the megalithic and mysterious ancient ruins of Puma Punku and other religious enclosures. Lunch near the site and way back to La Paz.

TIWANAKU a Pre-Columbian archaeological site in western Bolivia near Lake Titicaca and one of the largest sites in South America not to mention one of the oldest. The Surface remains currently covered with an area of around 4 square kilometers and include decorated ceramics, monumental structures, and megalithic blocks. The site's population probably peaked around 10,000 to 20,000 people 15,000 years ago.
